  2. Rahina,
    Welcome back.
This painting is so very good on so many wondrous levels. Who would think that a painting of a squirrel could be so enticing. An artist that's who! Bravo. The colors on this one shout out to the world.
    Keep on keeping on!
    Take care.

  3. Hello Rahina, it seems that blogs are deflating, too bad, maybe facebook comforts us better our vanities.Through the eyes of the squirrel, you recognize the love you feel for animals.I hope someone take it away from hands.

  4. rahina,
Is that a Norwegian squirrel?.... 'cause he or she sure looks fluffy, content and well rested.
Or are you trying to tell us through your art that you've been busy as a squirrel collecting nuts?
Nice to see you back. I like the unusual choice of a squirrel against a purple sky.

    Keep painting...

  5. hi David, not a Norwegian squirrel but a Canadian one....
what am i trying to say through this.... perhaps it is its smallness and ability to survive in a forest devastated by a hurricane? the purple sky.... the beauty of grey...
thank you for your thoughts David. always appreciated :)

  6. Your squirrel is charming and the composition is very effective. The purple background really adds a fun energy. Glad to see a post from you, Rahina.

  7. The whole thing is brimming with 'squirrelly' energy. (I mean that in the best possible way! ;-) Good work.
